Some movies are frozen in time, like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Set It Off, and Fight Club. They belong to Kate and Matthew, Queen Latifah and Jada, Edward and Brad. They’re snapshots of who we were and what we dreamed about back then.

But what if we swapped them out for now? Would you watch How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days if Andie and Ben were Zendaya and Liam Hemsworth are still playing the same cat-and-mouse, just in a world of TikTok breakups and viral listicles?

Would Set It Off hit just as hard if it starred Keke Palmer, Willow Smith, SZA, and Jurnee Smollett, four women today, fighting the same old system but under new, sharper eyes?

Would Fight Club still punch you in the gut if the narrator and Tyler were Gen Z rage in hoodies, burning the world down in a livestream instead of a basement?

Would it feel the same? Better? Or would you miss the old flaws, the old grit, the old charm? If Hollywood asked, would you say yes?

We were wondering about this when we thought to recreate these posters, and we are also wondering what your take might be.
